Marta Pardo Araujo

PhD Student

Graduated in Mathematics (USC) and Master in Advanced Mathematics and Mathematical Engineering (UPC), my scientific interests are focused on the study of populations through dynamic systems. During the Master’s thesis I focused on the analysis of a human-mosquito model for malaria.

After this I decided to continue my training on this subject. For this reason, in the doctorate I will study both the dynamics of diseases transmitted by mosquitoes, as well as that of the vectors that transmit them. Introducing citizen science (Mosquito Alert) for data collection as well as field data.

Interests: applied Mathematics, dynamical systems, non lineal mathematics,  epidemiology, vector borne disease.
